This post tests the capabilities of MathJax, a JavaScript display engine for mathematics, that I plan to use frequently on this site. Below are some simple (though mostly non-sensical) examples, the results of which seem satisfactory.

When a0, there are two solutions to ax2+bx+c=0 and they are x=b±b24ac2a
